This Delivery and Shipping Policy (“Policy”), together with the Terms of Use, outlines our procedures for the shipping and delivery of products purchased on www.pustakwala.store (“Website”), owned and operated by Pustakwala / Himanshu (“We”, “Our”, “Us”).
We ship books and related products all across India through our trusted logistics partners to ensure fast and reliable delivery. By accessing the Website or placing an order, you agree to the terms outlined in this Policy.
If you do not agree with any part of this Policy, please discontinue use of the Website.
2. TERMS OF SHIPPING AND DELIVERY
2.1 Logistics Partners
We work with third-party logistics companies (“Logistic Partners”) to ship and deliver all orders. Details of your shipping partner will be shared once your order is dispatched.
2.2 Same-Day / Next-Day Dispatch
All orders placed on business days are dispatched within 24 working hours.
Orders placed on weekends (Saturday–Sunday) or public holidays will be processed on the next business day.
2.3 Serviceable Areas
We attempt to deliver across India; however, some locations may be unserviceable.
If your pincode is not serviceable, you will be notified during checkout.
We reserve the right to cancel orders where delivery is not possible.
2.4 Shipping Information & Accuracy
To ensure smooth delivery, customers must provide:
Full name
Accurate shipping address
Nearby landmark
Active phone number
Email address
We are not responsible for delivery failures caused by incorrect or incomplete information provided by the customer.
2.5 Delivery Attempts
Our Logistic Partner will make up to 2 delivery attempts.
If the customer is unavailable during both attempts, the order may be cancelled and returned to us.
2.6 Possible Delays
Delivery may be delayed due to:
Weather issues
Logistical problems
Strikes or political unrest
Natural disasters
Technical issues
Any other unforeseeable circumstances
We will try to notify you via SMS or email in case of delays.
We are not liable for compensation due to late deliveries.
2.7 Conduct of Delivery Personnel
While we work with professional delivery partners, we do not control the individual behavior of their staff.
Any dispute or behavioral issue with a delivery executive must be resolved directly between you and the delivery personnel.
2.8 Order Tracking
Once your order is dispatched, you will receive a tracking ID via SMS or email.
You can track your order on the logistics provider’s website.
Tracking updates may occasionally show delays due to:
Network issues
Time-lags in scan updates
Technical errors
These are beyond our control.
2.9 Package Verification
Upon delivery:
Inspect the package before accepting
Do NOT accept deliveries if:
The package is torn
Seal is broken
Box is tampered
Item appears damaged
Accepting a tampered package will disqualify you from claiming:
Missing items
Incorrect product
Damage in transit
2.10 Shipping Charges
Shipping charges may vary based on:
Order value
Delivery location
The product category
Shipping costs, if charged, are non-refundable, except in cases where:
A defective/damaged/incorrect product is delivered
And the issue is verified and approved by us
2.11 Returns & Reverse Pickup
For approved return requests, our reverse-logistics partner will coordinate pickup from your address.
